Job Description:
The Sanitation Worker ensures that the nut processing plant is maintained and compliant with food safety regulations.

Responsibilities & Duties:
- Cleaning and sanitizing of production equipment and facilities
- Dismantles and reassembles production equipment for cleaning
- Uses chemicals according to company guidelines and safe practices
Qualifications:
- Hard-working, dedicated and punctual individual with a strong desire to learn
- Team-work oriented
- Aerial Lift and/or forklift experience
- Knowledge of GMP’s and HACCP
- Understanding of and compliance with safety practices such as Lock-out/Tag-out, wearing of PPE, and GHS
- Ability to use various types of cleaning equipment such as brooms, mops, floor scrubbers, buckets, scrub pads and air compressor hoses
- Ability to read procedures and safety information in English (required)
- Ability to write in English to document sanitation duties completed (required)
- High School Diploma or GED (required)
- Ability to work night shifts
Physical Demands
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs safely
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to bend, stoop, and kneel
- Must be able to walk throughout the facility
- Must be able to scrub and wipe by hand miscellaneous equipment and items
Pay, schedule and benefits are as follows:
- Pay - $14.00 $18 per hour
- Overtime and weekends may be required
