Job Description:
Efficiently train Compac staff and customers in Compac’s grading technology, resulting in confidence and proficiency.

Responsibilities & Duties:
- To train operators of Compac technology and lift the level of customer expertise and effectiveness
- To deliver highly effective customer training schools
- To provide well organized and focused training for Compac sales and technical staff
- Demonstrate technology at trade shows and prospective customers’ premises
- To understand how maximum value can be achieved by customers from vision technology
- Develop standardized and bespoke methods of using Compac technology that can be applied across a range of produce types (e.g. apples, kiwifruit, citrus, pomegranates, tomatoes, stone fruit)
- To assist the Training Manager in developing a high-quality training center for Compac
- To assist the Vision and Sizer development teams in refining the customer usability of the technology
- To develop a close working relationship with the Vision and Sizer development teams to ensure ongoing improvements are communicated effectively to customers and staff
- To understand and communicate new applications of Vision and Sizer technology
- Travel nationally and internationally, primarily NZ, Australia, USA and South America plus other countries as required

- A high degree of computer literacy, Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as being web and desktop app savvy
- An understanding of Compac Sorting technology
- Packhouse/ Line Management and Sorting Machine operating experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong fault finding and problem-solving skills
- Ability to talk through technical issues, and to train customers in using our equipment
- Willing to travel with no restrictions to international travel

- Competent with Microsoft Office – Word, Excel and Outlook
- Confident at documentation production in written clear English
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
