Job Description:
As the Assistant Night Manager you will be responsible for the efficient day-to day operation of the Warehouse with particular emphasis on the management of the warehouse personnel and the implementation of warehouse action plans and inventory processes.

Requirements:
- 3- 5 years of Management experience in a warehouse or distribution environment
- Bilingual (Spanish/English)
- Computer applications using MS office and Excel
- Working knowledge of warehouse/mechanical equipment
- Working knowledge of OSHA, DOT, HAZMAT, FDA regulations and the willingness to become certified in one or more of these areas, as necessary
- Excellent supervisory skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
- Ability and availability to work irregular or extended hours including nights, weekends and holidays, as needed by the customer
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Responsible for overseeing nightly receiving, night warehouse staff, warehouse cleanliness
- To ensure that all pick tickets and orders are setup properly and loaded onto the correct truck by cut-off time of 4am
- Oversees setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization
- Initiates, coordinates and enforces optimal operational policies and procedures
- Keeps stock control systems up to date and makes sure inventories are accurate
- Liaises with clients, suppliers and transport companies
- Plans and assigns tasks appropriately and appraise results
- Oversees inventory discrepancies and any shortages
- Assumes responsibility for good working practices, safety, and security
- Should leave a progress / follow up report for the Director of Warehouse Operations
