Account Manager

The Counter Sales Representative has a passion for customer service and provides end-to-end support for wholesale customers.

Responsibilities:

• Brings a customer focus and high energy to our fast paced store
• Helps other team members when working with customers or pulling product
• Operates a cash register and navigates computer and paper catalog systems
• Works towards continuous improvement with in-store processes and procedures
• Interacts with warehouse and sales team members to maximize output and efficiency
• Cross trains other Store activities as required
• Works with and handles “Walk-in” customers
• Handles cash payout and retuned merchandise
• Utilize computer order entry system to process orders
• Creates work orders to transfer products between locations
• Creates work order to order production items from stock
• Make sales call on customers
• Receive sales calls from customers
• Process sales order
• Handles cash, credit and/or check payment transactions
• Create sales receipt/invoice
• Other duties as necessary to support sales and/or mechanizing staff

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• High school diploma/GED required
• Motivated to train and learn
• Knowledge of inventory management systems, a plus
• Solid computer skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook
• Ability to handle office equipment, fax, telephone, copier, etc. 
• Demonstrated sense of urgency and comfort working in a fast paced environment
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Solid problem solving and decision making skills
• Ability to move/lift 50 lbs various times over a 12 hour shift, basic math and reading skills
• Willingness to work holidays and weekends as we are a 24/7 business operating through most weekends and holidays
• Successful completion of a post offer physical, drug screen and background check is required
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check

Other Duties and Responsibilities

Compliance to GMP, Food Safety, Food Defense and Food Quality regulations as required by the company, customers and/or government legislations, including timely communication to appropriate facility management of any non-conformity issues or violations found.
