We're looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Houston team. If you're detail-oriented, thrive in a fast-paced distribution environment, and enjoy building strong customer relationships, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do

• Manage the full accounts receivable process, including invoicing, payment application, collections, and account reconciliations.
• Monitor customer accounts and proactively follow up on outstanding balances.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, deductions, short pays, and payment issues.
• Maintain accurate aging reports and customer account records.
• Partner with Sales, Customer Service, and Operations to resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally.
• Process credits, adjustments, and refunds.
• Support month-end closing activities and prepare AR reports for management.
• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 5 years of Accounts Receivable experience
• Produce industry experience strongly preferred
• Food distribution experience will also be considered.
• Experience with Produce Pro ERP is a plus.
• Strong understanding of AR processes and general accounting principles.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
