Job Description:
The Operations/Production Manager will be responsible for the development and management of all aspects of the production operation as outlined in the essential functions below. You will coordinate the overall day-to-day production activities under the direction of the Director of Operations.

Proven work experience in an Operations/Production Manager capacity

Strong organizational skills

Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives

Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required

Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths/weaknesses of alternative solutions

Leadership skills and ability manage staff

Responsibilities & Duties:

Allocate production workforce accordingly with efficiency of completing the work on time.

Ensure that production meets health, sanitation, and quality standards set by Caruso Inc., food industry, and government agencies.

Prepare a proper schedule of food production for the orders received.

Generates daily reports after the completion of the production work with all necessary documents.

Constantly vigilant in forecasting the risk problems before commencing the work.

Support and help develop new food products welcomed by the market need and promote it in an effective way.

Ensures the quality and hygiene of the product.

Responsible for the implementation of safety programs that provide a safe and clean workplace for employees and within the regulations of all OSHA local and state regulations.

Plan operations and methods to utilize available skills, knowledges, abilities, experience, man-hours, material and workflow to the best advantages to obtain most favorable costs, quality and quantity.

Recommends equipment requirements and replacements to the Director of Operations in order to upgrade and maintain productivity and efficiency.

Partner with Human Resources in the area of counseling, oral and written coaching documentation, and employee relations to promote a productive labor climate and team building atmosphere throughout the operation.
