Position Overview:
The Data Analyst will play a key role in consolidating, analyzing and interpreting data related to inventory, shipments, pricing, supplier performance, market trends, and customer demand. This role is essential for optimizing supply chain operations, improving forecasting accuracy, and supporting strategic decisions across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze import, sales, and inventory data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for efficiency.
- Monitor and forecast demand to help optimize inventory levels.
- Consolidate grower shipment reports
- Work closely with procurement, logistics, and sales teams to support decision-making with actionable insights.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across all reporting systems.
- Automate routine reports and data flows to improve workflow efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Supply Chain, Economics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in a data analysis role (experience in produce, agriculture, import/export, or supply chain is a strong plus).
- Proficient in Excel and data analysis tools such as Power BI.
- Understanding of supply chain and inventory principles.
- Ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, seasonal, and dynamic environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with perishables or short-shelf-life product supply chains.
- Basic knowledge of customs/import regulations and international logistics.
- Conversational Spanish
Working Environment and Physical Requirements:
- Works in an office environment that requires sitting, standing, and walking, phone and computer communications. Must be able to lift from 10 to 40 lb cartons as needed.
