The primary objective of the Sales Representative is to expand the company’s sales and distribution footprint for Peruvian grapes, Chilean cherries, and other key commodities including stone fruit, kiwi, and citrus. This will be accomplished through the management and expansion of national retail programs, as well as the acquisition and oversight of regional chain store and wholesale accounts.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- Provide excellent customer service to accounts, suppliers, and logistics partners
- Manage day-to-day sales operations
- Secure and manage seasonal sales programs
- Monitor and analyze current and forecasted inventories to support accurate sales planning and product allocation
- Handle Trouble File entries, ensuring timely follow-through and closure
- Monitor and manage customer e-commerce platforms
- Analyze market structure and trends to determine competitive pricing strategies
- Monitor supply and demand dynamics to make informed pricing and sales decisions

Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of proven success in produce sales, with specific experience in the Peruvian and Chilean grape, cherry, stone fruit, apples, kiwi, and citrus programs

- Professional, confident, and customer-focused demeanor
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
Working Environment and Physical Requirements:
- Works in an office environment that requires sitting, standing, and walking, phone and computer communications. Must be able to lift from 10 to 40 lb cartons as needed.
