Job Description:
Henry Avocado Company, based in Escondido, CA since 1925, is an avocado packer, importer, and distributor with multiple regional distribution locations. Our company is growing and we are seeking an energetic, self-motivated, entry-level trainee to work in distribution, warehouse management, and sales.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or college diploma in a business related field preferred but not required
- Excellent oral/written communication skills
- Self-starter, resourceful and results driven
- Good computer skills and the motivation to learn new skills
- Bilingual in English and Spanish, verbally and written
- Excellent customer relations skills
- Detail oriented, methodical with excellent follow-up skills
- Able to work in a respectful and professional manner with all levels of employees as a team
- Able to lift product weighing up to 50 pounds
- Candidate must be available to travel and work weekends.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Sales order entry
- Service existing accounts
- Assist in coordination of order fulfillment with the processing plant
- Provide back-up for sales staff
- Coordinate with Quality Control, Accounting, and Production staff as needed to effectively resolve issues and disputes regarding shipments, products or accompanying follow-up activity
- Arrange orders and appointments with shipping
- Perform special projects and assignments as directed
- Assist customers whenever appropriate
- Provide professional customer service in a fast paced environment, with a focus on process improvement and contribution to improving teamwork and workflow
