JAB Produce is now seeking a Food Safety Manager who will be responsible for coordinating and maintaining all food safety protocols involved in the day to day operations of our business. The qualified candidate must have experience in maintaining a third party certified warehouse and reducing risk in our workplace.
The Food Safety Manager will develop and implement a “Green” working environment for our business. It is expected that the food safety coordinator will ensure the overall safety of all workers through training and enforcement of all company policies. This includes physical safety (OSHA) and food safety (HACCP).

- Bachelor’s degree from accredited four year college
- Knowledge of Produce Pro software a plus
- Strong ability to work independently with high integrity
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Implement a full safety program for all employees and products.
- Obtain third party certification for our warehouse
- Have working knowledge of GTIN’s and operating a food safe repack program
- Understand our software and traceability programs
- Have an understanding of PTI and how it affects our business
- Able to respond at any time to all recalls and safety concerns in our daily operations
- Keep up to date on all new governmental regulations concerning Food Safety
- Manage and train all warehouse personnel in the culture of a food safe warehouse
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited 4-year college
