We are currently looking for a Warehouse Operations Manager in Laredo, TX.
As the Warehouse Operations Manager you will be responsible for the efficient day-to-day operation of the Warehouse/Crossdock with particular emphasis on the management of the warehouse personnel, and the implementation of warehouse action plans and inventory processes.
- At least 5 years of Management experience in a warehouse or distribution environment
- Bilingual (Spanish/English)
- Computer applications using MS office and Excel
- Working knowledge of warehouse/mechanical equipment
- Working knowledge of OSHA, DOT, HAZMAT, FDA regulations and the willingness to become certified in one or more of these areas, as necessary
- Excellent supervisory skills

- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
- Ability and availability to work irregular or extended hours including nights, weekends and holidays, as needed by the customer
- Ensures the safe, clean and efficient operation of the Warehouse/Crossdock to meet and exceed service standards
- Ensure proper labor coverage for daily releases and workload
- Provides direct supervision to all Warehouse Personnel
- Ensures compliance with both internal and external SOW’s
- Assists in developing a program to train and motivate personnel for increased effectiveness
- Develops and implements shipping and receiving work schedules and assignments to assure effective and efficient operations
- Makes recommendations to the Director of Logistics on programs to improve Warehouse/Crossdock operations
- Interacts with customers on a daily basis and attends regular customer meetings
- Directs the operations of the warehouse personnel to achieve prescribed objectives and goals
- Develops and maintains a productive staff by creating programs for hiring, training and professional development
- Responsible for the management of equipment and Coordinates the maintenance of equipment with local vendor
- Maintains a professional and courteous relationship with customers and ensures that all personnel do the same
- Supervises all inbound and outbound shipments to ensure they are correct and carried out in a timely FIFO fashion
- Will need to regularly assist in loading and offloading trucks, filling and packaging orders and completing the paperwork per written instructions when required
