As our Food Safety & Environmental Compliance Supervisor, you'll lead the charge in keeping our food safe and our environment clean.
The ideal candidate is:
- A highly organized, detail-oriented individual with strong computer skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively, managing a team, and following safety protocols
- Able to make independent decisions, communicate effectively, and work with a variety of personnel (consultants, auditors, warehouse staff) is essential.
- Able to be a team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
You'll leverage your expertise to:
- Oversee waste management, cleaning services, and sanitation programs
- Stay up-to-date on regulations and implement procedures for compliance
- Conduct audits, analyze data, and develop solutions to improve food safety
- Train and lead sanitation associates, fostering a positive and productive team
- Manage waste reduction programs and ensure adherence to sustainability initiatives
- Ensure compliance with company standards to monitor Food Safety and Sanitation programs
- Implement Trash, Recycling programs and Green Waste programs that align with CA SB 1383
- Manage, maintain, and order Sanitation material inventory
- Manage, train, motivate and evaluate Sanitation associates
We're looking for someone with:
- Strong food safety and sanitation knowledge (GAPs, GlobalGAP, SQF preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments
- A commitment to the highest quality standards
- The ability to work independently, manage a team, and prioritize effectively
- A passion for continuous improvement and a dedication to the OK Way
Required:
- A valid driver’s license and a clean DMV record
- Must be willing to attend industry related events
- Must always follow safety rules and regulations
Preferred:
- Bilingual
- Experience with USDA, FDA, and DEP regulations.
Salary: $75,000
