This part-time, field-based position is focused on selling, building relationships, developing new business opportunities and executing sales plans. Sales Representatives are results-driven, persuasive, and motivated individuals who excel in selling and achieving new business growth.

A day in the life:

  • Sales/Territory Management/Business Development – As a Part-Time Outside Sales Representative, your primary responsibility is ownership of your territory and actively managing a strategic call cycle to grow sales at existing accounts and secure new business. Building strong relationships with buyers, presenting compelling sales opportunities, and executing effective sales strategies will be key to your role. Regular travel is required to meet face-to-face with accounts in your territory, with additional travel as needed.
  • Achieving Sales Targets – You will be accountable for achieving territory sales goals, new item placements, and account development. Your sales performance will be evaluated based on sales dollars within your assigned territory, successful new item placements, account reach, and new accounts. You will develop and implement strategies to meet and exceed these goals.
  • In-Field Execution & Relationship Building – Success in this role requires consistent in-person engagement with accounts and strong relationship management. Travel within your assigned territory four days per week for face-to-face interactions with buyers and store managers. Attend industry events, tradeshows, and meetings to strengthen partnerships and stay informed on market trends. Provide in-store execution, such as ensuring promotional displays are set up, shelf tags are accurate, and stock is properly rotated.
  • Sales-Driven Execution – You will be responsible for implementing sales initiatives, promotional programs, photo documentation for retail execution and brand growth strategies at your accounts. You will also check shelf tags, rotate stock, and perform audits when needed.
  • Collaboration & Communication – Maintain proactive, solution-driven communication with both internal and external stakeholders.Work closely with sales leadership, brand partners, and internal teams to align on goals and initiatives. Provide market insights, competitive intelligence, and feedback to drive continuous improvement.
  • Data & Analytics – Utilizing sales data and market insights is critical to identifying opportunities and maximizing sales. You will analyze key metrics, including SPINS, Nielsen, Power BI, store-level void reports, and distributor data, to make informed decisions that drive sales performance.

This role requires a high degree of autonomy, independent decision-making, self-motivation and the ability to influence sales growth within the assigned market.

This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Projects and responsibilities may change at any time with or without notice due to our business, industry, and/or market changes. Additional travel may be required for industry tradeshows and/or company meetings and events.

  • Strong business acumen, with experience managing a sales pipeline and meeting/exceeding sales targets.
  • Comfortable working independently and making decisions in a fast-paced sales environment.
