ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES. Essential duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to:
  • Design and maintain automated reports, dashboards, and tools to track key operational and financial metrics

  • Clean, organize, and validate large data sets from multiple systems including ERP (Famous), Excel, and field data

  • Lead the preparation and variance analysis of the annual and quarterly farming budgets

  • Perform cost-benefit, material price, and labor cost analyses to identify cost drivers and savings opportunities

  • Support daily harvest and packing operations by maintaining real-time cost reporting and walking the packing house for data integrity verification

  • Manage and maintain ranch-level data attributes, contributing to accurate financial modeling

  • Prepare detailed crop performance and defect reports for internal and board-level use

  • Conduct benchmarking studies with peer growers to evaluate efficiency and profitability

  • Work directly with farm managers to understand field practices and their financial impact

  • Provide crop insurance and packing house reporting support

  • Lead ad hoc analyses and special projects as needed, often with minimal direction

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Agribusiness, or related field

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (including macros, Power Query, and pivot tables)

  • Strong experience with data visualization and reporting tools (Power BI strongly preferred)

  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as Famous or equivalent

  • Experience with GIS tools like ArcGIS is a plus

  • Comfortable working independently with large and complex datasets

  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving ability

  • Ability to manage workload across both daily operational support and long-term planning projects

  • Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
