We have an immediate opening for an Accounting Technician to join us in Salinas, CA.
The Accounting Technician will play a key role in supporting a team of accountants and will be responsible for various responsibilities to ensure timely and accurate financial statements. The ideal candidate possesses knowledge of the fresh produce industry and an eagerness to learn and has great attention to detail. This position has an operational focus and is therefore cross-functional, where flexibility is vital to meet Department and Company goals and deadlines.
The successful candidate will have A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) or higher. A combination of relevant work experience and/or training may be considered in lieu of a degree. They Must be bilingual in English and Spanish and be able to effectively present information and respond to questions in both languages. They Must have the ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Able to troubleshoot and problem-solve. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and have experience in E1 and Internet Software.
