Job Description:

The Role: As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting our finance team by using your exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and customer service mindset to process cash receipts, resolve outstanding balances, and maintain accurate accounts receivable records. Your contributions will help ensure the financial stability and customer satisfaction that uphold Tanimura & Antle's high standards.

Location(s): Salinas, CA

Areas of Responsibility:

  • Assist with processing daily cash receipts accurately and timely.
  • Support collection efforts by resolving outstanding accounts receivable balances.
  • Collaborate closely with the Sales team to address and resolve billing issues.
  • Provide departmental backup as needed, including invoicing duties, credit processing, and related tasks.
  • Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a minimum of three years of accounts receivable and/or collections experience is preferred.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Commitment to delivering excellent customer service, both internally and externally.
  • Analytical mindset with proven problem-solving skills. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; comfortable navigating and learning new systems.
