Founded in 1999 by Chalmers and Lori Anne Carr, Titan Farms is a premier grower, packer, and shipper of fresh peaches and vegetables. Titan Farms also has a processing division with a state-of-the-art facility providing best in class production in the frozen, puree, and IQF arena. The team at Titan is committed to the same level of success in the processing industry as has been achieved in the fresh produce market.
We’re seeking a qualified Sales Manager who can help keep this engine running through strong sales skills and effective leadership of a team of driven sales representatives. The ideal candidate has deep experience across the entire sales cycle and excels at lead generation, relationship building, and deal closing. We’re looking for a quick learner with strong negotiation skills, a proven track record, and the ability to inspire the same level of performance in others. This role demands a sharp, analytical leader capable of coaching, motivating, advising, and, when necessary, making personnel decisions to maintain a high-performing and engaged team.

The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver who thrives in fast-paced environments and is comfortable balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution. They are confident in making data-driven decisions, skilled at building trust with growers, retail partners, and internal stakeholders, and adaptable enough to pivot quickly based on market shifts or operational needs.

Objectives of this role
- Represent the company effectively with comprehensive knowledge of our offerings
- Research consumer needs and identify how our solutions address them
- Hire, train, motivate, and advise a team of sales representatives
- Achieve company objectives by planning thoroughly, setting sales goals, analyzing performance data, and making forecasts
- Continuously develop skills for hiring, training, and leading team members while ensuring the team is using effective sales tactics to meet revenue goals
- Generate leads, and establish, grow and nurture client relationships
Responsibilities
- Create and execute a strategic sales plan that expands our customer base
- Meet with potential clients and grow long-lasting relationships that address their needs
- Recruit sales representatives, set objectives, train and coach them, and monitor their performance
- Identify knowledge gaps within the team and develop plans for filling them
- Ensure that company quotas are met by holding daily check-ins with sales team to set objectives and monitor progress
- Oversee month-end and year-end close processes
- Manage the daily activities of the sales team identifying opportunities for efficiencies.
Required skills and qualifications
- College degree preferred
- Five or more years of experience in fresh produce sales
- Proven record of success with the entire sales process, from planning to closing
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in analyzing sales data, market trends, and performance metrics
- Knowledge of sales forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM tools
- Superb leadership ability
- Ability to travel at least 20% of the time
- Willingness to be on the farm during the harvest season of May-August
- CPG background a plus
