We currently have an opportunity for an Irrigation and Plant Health Manager to join our team in Manteca, CA.
The Irrigation and Plant Health Manager will be responsible for daily irrigation scheduling for alfalfa, corn, beans, plus assisting in scheduling for pumpkins, watermelons, and almonds. The will also check fertilizer and sulfuric acid tank levels, as well as checking water pH levels and scout appropriate field sites for insect pests, plant diseases, crop quality, and plant nutrition.
The successful candidate will have:
- Valid CA driver’s license
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a field scout
- Ability to scout & monitor 500+ acres per day
- Excellent communication skills
