Vegpro International Inc., has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Team Leader of Shipping and Receiving.

Under the responsibility of the Receiving and Shipping Supervisor, you will have to organize and ensure the smooth running of the daily receiving and shipping activities of the plant according to established standards and procedures. You will also coordinate the work of forklift operators (finished products and order pickers).
- Organize and prioritize the activities of receiving packaging material and shipping orders
- Assign tasks to team members according to operational priorities and needs
- Welcome carriers, prepare and manage the necessary shipping and receiving documentation
- Truck loading according to established standards and procedures
- Ensure that loading procedures are followed and report any anomalies to the production supervisor
- Follow up on the progress of operations and provide support to employees in carrying out their work as needed
- Ensure effective communication between factory work teams and other departments for any situation
- Participate in the integration of new employees and supervise their training
- Check the performance of employees and follow up with the immediate superior
- Communicating any employee problem requiring a disciplinary notice to the immediate superior and ensuring its application
- Manage attendance of employees
- Intermediate knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel)
- Fluency in oral English, with Spanish as an asset
- Knowledge of HACCP standards is an asset
- Ability to work in an environment of 3°Celsius

- Ease of communicating with employees and giving clear direction
- Sense of urgency and initiative with the ability to remain proficient and detail orientated
- High school diploma
- Minimum of two (2) to four (4) years of experience in a similar position
- Possess the potential and skills needed to manage a work team
- Possess Forklift Operator Skills Cards
