This is a Great Opportunity in a casual friendly environment for independent experienced Fresh Produce Purchaser.
Overall responsibilities require experience with procurement/supply chain management, sourcing products, negotiating prices, quality, and securing freight to meet the strategic goals of the company.
Must have expertise in managing and negotiating supplier contracts by maintaining and building existing and new grower/shipper relationships, while demonstrating excellent communication and relationship building skills.
Must be proficient in driving continuous cost reductions by negotiating pricing and managing inventory levels.
Must work well with minimal supervision, be a self-starter with great attention to detail with a passion for coaching and development and the ability to have fun!
