JOB TITLE: QA TECHNICIAN
REPORTS TO: QA SUPERVIOSR
DEPARTMENT: QUALITY ASSURANCE
LOCATION: SWEDESBORO, NEW JERSEY

JOB SUMMARY
This position will help document and record essential quality activities and help communicate any relevant information as needed. This individual will be part of the Mission QA team that strives to meet or exceed all regulation and lead the industry in Quality. In addition, this position involves a combination of visual monitoring of various aspects of the FDC operations and physical testing of product.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
▪ Conduct routine and visual inspections on the product
▪ Sample and inspect raw and finished product to ensure conformance to standards
▪ Initiate and complete aging, shipping, receiving, and grading reports
▪ Create and complete experiments to test packaging, product, and other elements of quality
▪ Set up stations and equipment to measure quality specifications
▪ Test product for oil content, temperature and internal/external defects
▪ Maintain a clean and orderly workstation
▪ Communicate issue to Lead Supervisors
▪ All other duties as assigned
 
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
▪ High School Diploma or 2 years of relevant experience
▪ Ability to be flexible with hours
▪ Effective interpersonal communication skills
▪ Experienced in Microsoft Office
▪ Bilingual in English and Spanish (Preferred)
▪ Forklift experience (Preferred)
▪ Knowledge of AS400/inventory systems (Preferred)
 
WORKING CONDITIONS
▪ Ability to work in temperature-controlled environment from 34°F – 42°F
▪ Ability to lift or mover 25-50 pounds
▪ Ability to climb ladders
▪ Safely work near moving mechanical parts and equipment
▪ Ability and willingness to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch/bend as needed to perform essential tasks
