We have a great opportunity for a Pest Control Advisor to join our team.
The Pest Control Adviser is responsible for providing pest control for all ranches. Time will be spent scouting crops for pests and then make recommendations on treatment and suggest methods to control or prevent pest issues. This role will also be responsible for supervising spray operations in the applications of chemicals. Responsible for all regulatory issues with County and DPR for pesticides and chemical applications. Candidate is responsible for all record keeping on pest control issues and for all non-electronic use reporting. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience as Pest Control Advisor in row crops
- Adequate experience in farm management
- Pest Control Advisor license
- BS in plant science
- Ability to communicate effectively, both written and oral
- Valid driver’s license
- Proficient computer skills
