The Director of Sales & Marketing will develop and execute sales, marketing, merchandising and customer service strategies. This role will be responsible for the business development process by leading our Business Development Managers, our Sales & Marketing team, and account management.
While leading the Indy Fruit Sales & Marketing Team, this position will drive account growth through the development and advancement of our product & service program offerings. By ensuring high levels of customer service through sales order administration, problem resolution, and competitive pricing programs, this role can meet and surpass company goals.
The Director of Sales & Marketing will keep a pulse on the industry and competitors, while closely monitoring internal sales metrics and analyzing sales history/gross profit trends for timely forecasting. This position will succeed by thinking outside-the-box while collaborating with the executive team to develop strategic business plans.
Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in business or related area of study and at least 3 years’ experience at management level. Experience in the distribution industry is preferred. Candidates must have strong interpersonal and analytical skills with the ability to think strategically and communicate efficiently.
