Christensen & Giannini, LLC is a well-established, farming company. We specialize in strawberries and leafy greens with ranches located in the Salinas Valley. We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Coordinator to join our team. Under the direction of the Accounting Manager, the Grower Accountant will assist and support in the achievement of Company short and long-term goals and objectives. This position is full time, hourly, Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm unless additional work is assigned.
Accounts Receivable Coordinator Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Verify, receive and post Grower revenues in general accounting system (Famous)
- Monthly Grower revenue posting reconciliations
- Monthly reporting of Grower yield and monetary returns
- Review and balance Grower settlement reports for accuracy
- Investigate and report any Grower settlement discrepancies to Accounting Manager
- Maintain Grower settlement revenue folders
Invoicing Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Weekly Invoicing of Harvest, which includes daily verification of shipper packouts with Payroll
- Maintain weekly Harvest Pack billing files by customer, commodity and region i.e. Yuma or Salinas
- Assist with billing of Harvest Pack PO’s
- Invoicing of property damages as needed
- Intercompany billing as needed
Cash Receipts Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Post weekly deposits to general account
- Investigate and reconcile any payment shortages and/or overages
- Mailing of monthly past due statements and invoices
- File and maintain A/R Files

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- 2 year’s work history
- Cost Accounting/Job Costing
- Background in A/R or Grower Accounting
- Understanding of Ag or manufacturing accounting
- Strong verbal/written communication skills
- Experience with Famous a plus
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft office (excel use up to 90%)
- Demonstrate initiative and willingness to help others
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to work under timelines
- Detail oriented
- Self-motivated
- Pleasant attitude, “team player”, professional demeanor
- Bilingual a plus
- Excellent time management skills and attention to detail
- Clean driving record, all candidates may be subject to background check and driving record screening

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience
