Job Description: 
DiSilva Fruit, part of the Arrowfarms family of companies is a wholesale distributor and value-added re-packer headquartered in Chelsea, Massachusetts specializing in organic and conventional produce.
 
We are offering an amazing opportunity for a Business Development / Sales Manager to join our team in Chelsea, MA.
  
This position will be responsible for new account development, corporate account, and management, provide sales support to category leads and work with transportation and logistics. You’ll provide administrative support as needed (included but not limited to entering sales orders, closing repacks & navigating relevant customer portals).
  
The successful candidate will have/be:
  • 5+ years’ experience in Sales / Produce
  • Highly organized and detail oriented is critical
  • Work independently and collaboratively
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Spanish speaking a plus
  • Willingness to work across departments as needed
Duties and Responsibilities include:
Business Development / Sales & Account Management Responsibilities:
  • New account development
  • Corporate account sales and management
  • Provide sales support to category leads
  • Work with sales team to develop new products and categories
  • Transportation and Logistics
Operations and Management Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support as needed (included but not limited to entering sales orders, closing repacks & navigating relevant customer portals)
  • Become proficient in internal ERP system and provide support to production and office staff
  • Account management and manage co-packing programs as needed
