Ready Pac is announcing a new opportunity for a Sales and Marketing Analyst to provide analytical support and project management as it relates to packaged Salad in produce. This person will be responsible for managing and deploying syndicated and internal data reports to Ready Pac and its retail partner's team, as well as attending meetings to report key findings and recommendations. The Analyst should have a strong understanding of Nielsen/IRI database management and related data maintenance tasks. This Ready Pac position is located in Pleasanton, CA.

- Update and deploy top line reports, both syndicated and internal shipment and sales data to the produce teams on a weekly/monthly basis.
- Provide performance and investigative analysis by segment and deliver key findings at weekly meetings.
- Support the business units by pulling Nielsen, Optura or Internal data for presentations and offer key insights.
- Proactively search for articles and studies to share with the group and extrapolate any opportunities that could potentially influence salad business decisions.
- Create and manage weekly sales updates on product segments for all Safeway divisions
- Refresh monthly Nielsen top line report templates as well as develop AdHoc reports requested by the Business Unit
- Update any and all project tracking worksheets
- Participate in any and all internal meetings as it relates to Packaged Salad
- Become the expert in Technomic data mining, this includes Menu Monitor and available consumer research reports
- Attend Nielsen webinars: studies and Answers retail category updates. Share studies with Business Unit with a recap of key findings
- Plan-o-gram development for space optimization project validation
- Assist in presentation building by updating data slides within existing presentations as well as developing new templates for business reviews
- Manage new item set up process in Nielsen from start to finish
- Review and ensure proper coding to Nielsen monthly updates for Packaged Salad Category
- Manage Sales information database integrity. This includes reporting UPC classification corrections to Business Unit
- Assist with any major merchandising project with data support, image updates and store level interaction
Any combination of experience and education that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities such as:
- BA/BS Degree (required)
- 3 Years in Sales, Marketing or equivalent experience
Computer Skills
Must be computer proficient and have multi-systems experience with extended database and worksheet knowledge

Candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
