We are searching for a Production Manager to join our team in Redondo Beach, CA.
The Production Manager will plan, organize and control production in an organization to ensure that goods are produced efficiently, on time, within budget and to standard.

Responsibilities & Duties:
- Plan and coordinate the production schedule for the operation
- Review and adjust the schedule where needed based on capacities and labor
- Manage labor and material resources to meet production targets
- Make decisions about equipment use, maintenance and modification
- Develop, improve and implement standard operating procedures for production operations
- Ensure that standard operating procedures are adhered to
- Ensure implementation and adherence to health and safety procedures
- Set and maintain standards of operation and food safety
- Monitor quality standards of products
- Implement and enforce quality control and tracking programs to meet quality objectives
- Work alongside sales and quality control to detect and correct problems
- Monitor and review the performance of staff and organize necessary interventions for improvement
- Estimate production costs with the accounting team
- Set and manage production budgets
- Ensure efficient collaboration and co-ordination between relevant departments including procurement, sales, operations and management
- Maintain the traceability program (date code) with the various locations that bag programmed pack styles
