This position requires building of relationships with customers and resellers of our product, we pride ourselves on our relationships. This is more than just an order taking position, there is an expectation that the Sales Consultant moves thru the sales process with the customer ensuring they are updated and communicated with.
This position is remote, however it is imperative that the Sales Consultant travel to the Vineland Station, Ontario office once a week.

- An engineering background, experienced in a growing (horticulture/agriculture) environment, combination a plus.
- The position will require you to have a reliable car and a valid drivers' license to meet with customers and prospects.

- Maintain existing customer relationships.
- Establish and develop new customers; researching areas to determine new and potential customers and to develop these accounts.
- Manage the sales cycle: from the initial phone contact, initial face-to-face appointments, negotiations, final closing of the order, communicating through the project until greenhouse or materials have arrived and assisting the customer with questions through their build.
- Follow-up on quotations on a regular basis and update probability ranking.
- Maintain records of detailed call out lists, win/loss, and quotation reports.
- Attend trade shows and seminars to promote Paul Boers Ltd.
- Assist with the annual marketing plan.
- Work with current US resellers/builders and work to build that network
- Prepare presentations and present to both individuals and groups.
- Liaison between customer and townships assisting in completing the necessary paperwork needed to ensure building permits are not delayed.
