Job Description:

To supply customers with the world's finest avocados, we operate packing facilities in five countries and own eight regional ripening centers in North America. Our distribution centers and transportation capabilities ensure peak eating-quality avocados from the tree to the customer. And when it comes to food safety, we adhere to the Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) program and Good Harvesting Practices (GHP). Technical services representatives serve as pipelines of support for customers, distributors, and vendors for the company. A high-level of professional communication is needed to coordinate with vested parties via e-mail, phone, and on-site visits, and expedient solutions are of great importance.

Requirements: 
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to prioritize a variety of tasks, in a fast paced environment, and meet deadlines
  • Some experience with electrical and mechanical troubleshooting
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) (Optional but highly desired)
  • Associate's degree
  • Experience with Machine Operation
  • Willingness to learn
Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Provide technical support, system coordination, and product troubleshooting to their general client-base
  • Responsible for training groups, including internal customers, in the use of particular products to reduce the need for technical support and troubleshooting.
  • Work both in an office & production environment, but may need to be accessible at all hours to respond to internal customer needs
  • Travel to various sites to provide training sessions or hands-on support
  • Develop close working relationships with other staff members as well as those outside the company
  • Identify and escalate priority issues per company specifications;
  • Redirect problems to appropriate resource;
  • Follow up and make scheduled call backs to internal customers where necessary;
  • Stay current with system information, changes and updates
  • Perform other duties as requested

Qualifications: 
  • Electrical schematic reading is a plus
  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing Environment preferred
  • Experience with 5 why’s root cause analysis methodology preferred
