JOB FILLED - Store Co-Manager

Job Description:

Paul's Fruit Market Inc. has been a Louisville tradition since 1945 and we are growing every year. We are a family owned gourmet grocery store specializing in the finest produce, meat, deli, gourmet and garden selections available.

At Paul’s Fruit Market, we believe what’s inside matters — whether you’re talking about a meal or a business. We think of our customers as our neighbors; we want you to have only good things to say when you talk about Paul’s. That’s why we’re committed to doing things the way we’ve always done them. Some might call us old-fashioned, but we think really good stuff never goes out of style.

We source locally whenever it’s possible, because that’s the best way to get the freshest, most delicious produce. We don’t have a long supply chain. We shop daily, and our trucks deliver to the stores three times a day--that’s why our produce is always so fresh. Our more direct distribution process means sometimes corn literally goes from the field to the store in the same day.

We have a unique opportunity for a produce professional with a grocery retail background to join our team as a Store Co-Manager.

We utilize a co-manager method in which two people with the same title act as store manager working together on decisions and maintaining all general aspects of the store.

As a Store Co-Manager you will work with your counterpart in managing all aspects of the Paul's Fruit Market Inc. location you are assigned to including staff, sales, margin and labor.

The ideal candidate will have excellent people skills and the ability to not only work with their counterpart as a team but effectually create and maintain relationships with our customers. They will possess the ability to run the store with a sense of ownership and contribute to its growth and team/family culture.
