Job Description:
Pacific International Marketing (Pacific), a leader in the produce industry, is seeking a full-time Systems Engineer. The System Engineer engages in work that is intellectual or creative and requires the exercise of discretion and independent judgment. The employee engages in the application of systems analysis techniques and procedures, including consulting with users, to determine hardware, software, or system functional specifications. The employee must be highly skilled and proficient in the theoretical and practical application of highly specialized information to computer system analysis, programming, and software engineering.

Requirements:
- 5+ years’ experience with Microsoft Windows Servers and PC’s
- 3+ year experience working wireless network installation and infrastructure support
- 3+ years’ experience with IP networking administration
- Strong understanding of network security and implementation
- Strong understanding of Cellular and Two-way radio technology
- Must be willing to take ownership of issues and resolve them with a sense of urgency
Responsibilities & Duties:
- POTS/IP Phones
- Cell phones and BYOD Control systems
- Security systems including camera systems, analog and IP and the convergence of both
- Security systems, IP Based door lock systems and keycard systems
- Solar power systems, on and off-grid battery systems, wiring, charge controllers, low voltage networking
- Full network cabling installations and conduit, copper and fiber
- POE power systems, specifications and practical use
- Desktop and Laptop PCs, Windows/IOS
- Phone and tablet management and support, all major operating systems
- Corporate Wi-Fi systems
- Servers: AD, DNS, IDS, File, Custom apps, Logging, Linux, Email, Net-mon systems, Citrix, Virtualization
- Domain management, Registrar/Ext DNS/MX/Web host
- Website Design/updates/assistance
- Email Spam and Virus detection systems
- Virus and Malware protection/detection/eradication
- Data security and integrity, Backups and replication and verification
- Long range PTP wireless, spectrum management/FCC rules/antenna types/EIRP power
- Microsoft Office products
- Inventory maintenance
- Account management and billing
- Radio towers
- Mobile printers/Tagging printers, Bluetooth/WIFI
- Switching, Routing, Firewalls, Vlans, STP
- Packet monitoring/Network health and problem diagnosis
- IDS and Syslog Servers
- Server Rack Maintenance/Drive maintenance
- FCC Frequency License Management
