Job Description:
As the Warehouse Supervisor you will be responsible for the efficient day-to day operation of the warehouse with particular emphasis on the management of the warehouse personnel and the implementation of warehouse action plans inventory processes and food safety regulations.

Requirements:
- 3- 5 years of Management experience in a warehouse or distribution environment
- Bilingual (Spanish/English)
- Computer applications using MS office and Excel
- Working knowledge of warehouse/mechanical equipment
- Working knowledge of OSHA, DOT, HAZMAT, FDA regulations and the willingness to become certified in one or more of these areas, as necessary.
- Excellent supervisory skills
- Superb customer service skills
- Outstanding analytical and mathematical skills
- Ability and availability to work irregular or extended hours including, weekends and holidays, as needed by the customer
Responsibilities & Duties:

Responsible for overseeing receiving, warehouse staff, warehouse cleanliness

To ensure that all pick tickets and orders are setup properly and loaded onto the correct truck

Oversees setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization

Initiates, coordinates and enforces optimal operational policies and procedures

Helps to keep stock control systems up to date and makes sure inventories are accurate

Liaises with clients, suppliers and transport companies

Plans and assigns tasks appropriately and appraise results

Oversees inventory discrepancies and any shortages

Assumes responsibility for good working practices, safety, and security

Should leave a progress / follow up report for the Operations Manager
