Entrepreneurs WANTED

Aggrigator is looking for creative and driven entrepreneurs to join their team.  Independent New Business Development Managers are champions who will connect with fresh produce buyers, small, medium, and large.

The role is to drive buyer adoption, ongoing use and support of the Aggrigator marketplace within the designated metropolitan area. The role will also include introducing, signing on and supporting buyers to transact on the Aggrigator Marketplace. 

Responsibilities:

• Create demand by signing on buyers (small/medium/large)
• Buyers are restaurants, grocers, educational institutions, businesses, government, food processors, and other buyers of fresh produce 
• Should do an annual business of $2-$5m volume in year 1 per metro
• Enable buyers to transact on Aggrigator ecommerce marketplace
• Meet the annual business plan for all stakeholders
• Ongoing and professional outreach and communication to create community regarding Aggrigator
• Adoption and ongoing use of Aggrigator marketplace platform
• Maintaining and developing relationships with existing buyers in person and via telephone calls, emails, video-conference activity, etc.
• Responding in a timely manner to incoming buyer’s questions and needs
• Gathering and sharing market and buyers’ information

Qualifications:

• Educational background in Agribusiness, business, or allied field preferred
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Fresh Produce or Food Industry  
• Background being an entrepreneur in food industry
• Local relationships and social networks in demand
• Experience in managing buyers
• Frequent Travel with required occasional travel to California corporate office and possible occasional International travel 
• Excellent written and verbal language skills in English and Spanish
• Strong working knowledge of business software applications: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Self-motivated with strong drive and character
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills
• Ability to work as an individual and as a collaborative member of a world-class cross-functional team
