Awe Sum Organics, Inc. is a well-established importer and marketer of organic fresh fruit. Our Company has been in business for 39 years and is a leader in the organic produce industry, with international and domestic product supply and distribution across the entire U.S. and Canada (mainly direct to retailers). Our mission is to further global sustainability through organic, non-GMO agriculture while providing our customers with some of the most Awe Sum and best-tasting, nutrient-rich, organic fresh fruit available, with a focus on our global partnerships for year-round supply.

We are now seeking an IT Coordinator & Systems Analyst to join our team.
Job Description:

  • This position can be in-person, hybrid, or remote depending on the candidate.
  • Provides oversight, strategic process development, analysis, and maintenance of all technology resources related to business functions and processes at Awe Sum Organics.
  • Management of all business process SOPs and reports within and across all Company departments, systems oversight for all IT and operating systems, platforms, and software, and acting as a data gatekeeper.
  • Work with Company management and department managers, and 3PL service providers, regarding reporting, business planning, process support, tool development, maintenance, and integration. 
  • Work with Company management and each Company department manager to measure designated KPIs and various reports related to the Company, grower, supplier, and customer performance.
  • Generate and send various regular reports and information to Company management and department managers, suppliers, 3PL service providers, organic and food safety certifiers, and business partners such as Fair Trade USA.
  • This position requires a hands-on approach and close collaboration with all departments at Awe Sum Organics

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned, as necessary.

IT Management Role Highlights:

  • Management of all company operating systems and platforms
  • Management of third-party customer portals/EDI such as iTrade/SPS, customer-specific portals, etc.
  • Third Party IT service coordination and relationship management  
  • IT, phone, and other equipment and systems management
  • Cyber security procedures and oversight

System Administrator Role (all Business Systems) Highlights:

  • General systems maintenance and oversight
  • Mastery and maintenance of our operating system, Famous Software, and liaison with Famous’ office
  • Mastery and maintenance of our Business Intelligence system (Power BI) system through Famous Software
  • Data maintenance checks and balances
  • File organization, maintenance, and oversight
  • Reports/Data presentation support for company management and all department managers
  • Certifications and Sustainability (Fair Trade USA) reporting 

IT / System / Reporting Tools Development Role Highlights:

  • Where applicable, work with company management and department managers to develop tools for a given process, consistent with our overall goals of systems and data integrity
  • Assist company president and management team with special projects and other reports, as needed
  • Create and analyze end-of-season performance reports for the company, customers, growers, and suppliers
  • Act as lead in developing a Company KPI dashboards

Qualification Requirments and Preferences:

  • Advanced skills in Excel and Power BI and Proficiency in Outlook and Word required
  • Famous Software Experience preferred, or similar ERP/Accounting System required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Produce knowledge and experience preferred
