Classic Salads is a leading Grower/Shipper, in the baby leaf salads segment of the produce industry. Our growing fields are in the Salinas valley and Yuma AZ areas with a customer base throughout North America and the Caribbean.
We are looking for a Sales Representative to join our team in our Watsonville CA office.
A successful candidate will join our Sales Team in developing and maintaining strong business relationships with existing and new customers. We are seeking a motivated individual who has a strong and established work ethic and possesses the ability and desire to flourish within an extremely high paced environment. As a team member you will both work in all aspects of day to day operations and identify potential business and be willing to travel to both meet with existing and potential customers.
- Bachelor’s Degree Preferred.
- Minimum 5 years Sales experience preferred.
- Ability to think strategically, creatively, and analytically.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Strong computer skills including demonstrated proficiencies in all Microsoft Applications.
- This position requires the ability and willingness to travel.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task under tight time constraints.
- Be able to work in a close team atmosphere
- Responsible for the sales, service, retention and growth of assigned customers, and new customers brought on through your business development effort.
- Responsible for investigating and qualifying potential new customers, in alignment with the company’s sales plan
- Plans and executes a travel schedule for visiting key customers to conduct in person business reviews, and to strengthen relationships.
- Attends industry and customer specific trade shows and events.
- Work in all aspects of day to day operations including incoming and outgoing calls, emails and order entry as required
