We are a wholesale produce company looking to expand our business. Looking for self-motivated Sales Associate. Concentration would be on small retailers, food service, schools and other institutions. We have a full line of products including a fresh cut operation.

  • Work experience dealing with Foodservice and Institutions (schools, hospitals, country clubs).
  • Understanding of bid process.
  • Strong negotiating skills.
  • Strong written and verbal skills.
  • Drive to succeed. Ability to work on your own.
  • Ability to prioritize accounts.
  • Have a valid Driver’s License. Reliable transportation.
  • Travel throughout our selling area.
  • Work off hours as needed.
  • Proficient in excel.
  • Produce retail knowledge.
Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Meet sales goals by developing your own sales plan.
  • Work off established price list. Provide feedback on pricing daily. Work with buying team to establish pricing.
  • Follow orders through completely. From the time the order is taken to delivery.
  • Work with customers to expand product line.
  • Handle all customer claims with buying team.
  • Gain new customers. Should be a numeric goal included in annual sales plan.
  • Ability to identify areas of improvement.
  • Monitor competition.
  • Communicate orders to office clerk.
  • Manage and grow accounts that are given. ( Existing accounts)
  • Work with customers to establish promotional plans.  
  • Schedule sales calls be referral as well as cold call.
