Dayka & Hackett LLC is a leading Grower/Packer/Shipper of fresh fruit sourced globally to meet the demanding year round requirements of our domestic and export customer base. Products including; table grapes, tree fruit, citrus, kiwi, apples and pears, sourced globally from such fertile growing areas as California, Mexico, Chile, Brazil, Peru, Spain, and New Zealand. Dayka & Hackett LLC, headquartered in Reedley California, owns and operates modern fruit packing and cold storage facilities in the central San Joaquin Valley area.
We are currently seeking a Sales Manager for our west coast citrus division. The citrus division is focused primarily on the mandarin category and also handles a wider range of citrus commodities both domestic and imported.
The ideal candidate is highly motivated, entrepreneurial and works well in a team environment. This is an exceptional opportunity for the right candidate and has enormous growth potential. Working closely with a small management team that oversees field, production and packing, the successful candidate will be instrumental in building the Company’s long term growth strategy.
- Managing sales and marketing of the citrus category
- Developing and implementing sales strategy
- Managing major accounts and oversee export sales activity
- Set pricing daily and ad pricing
- Access sales opportunities with existing sales team
- Work closely with packing house, import manager and other key management
- Periodic meetings with growers/farm managers.
- Participate in management meeting and strategic planning.

Our global gap certified citrus packing facilities have the latest handling and packing equipment for citrus including high speed citrus sorting, frost separation, new degreening rooms, citrus bagging equipment and all the tools necessary to deliver competitive citrus products to domestic supermarkets/clubs and export markets.
- Bachelor’s degree or similar preferred
- Five years sales and marketing experience in produce sales and or sales management role
- Experience in the sales and marketing of citrus
- High level of personal energy and drive
- Excellent communication skills
- High standard of integrity and passion for advancement
