J. Ambrogi Foods, Inc., a company committed to providing outstanding quality and service to our customers is searching for several individuals, as Sales Representatives in Philadelphia, SE Pennsylvania and SW New Jersey, to help expand our customer base by joining our sales team.
As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for opening new accounts, and calling on our existing customers in Philadelphia, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

- Bachelor degree, or equivalent industry experience
- 2-3 years of proven sales experience and hands-on produce knowledge
- Existing book of business, a plus
- Proven ability to stay knowledgeable on seasonable produce market, offer substitution and respond to customer requests
- A chef’s background would be a plus
- High-energy and passionate about accomplishing sales goals
- Must demonstrate good follow up skills on leads to be successful in this position
- Knowledge of the tri state area is desirable
- Strong inter-personal skills
- Excellent selling skills and an ability to adapt to different customer types
- Strong organizational skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Bring in new accounts through phone calls, presentations, trade shows, and your existing customer network
- Provide input as to relevant market information, strategies, visions and goals for growth
- Meet and exceed territory sales targets
- Establish and build strong working relationships with team members to ensure the successful delivery of services to all customers
- Work collaboratively to ensure optimal customer service and support
- Plan and organized a daily work schedule to visit existing and potential customers
- Daily marketing support to establish and increase new customers
- Sales tracking, forecasting, and reporting – analyze and identify trends
