Regional Sales Manager - Retail and Food Service

Position Summary
Support the growth of HarvestHold Fresh within the retail, foodservice, and wholesale markets in North America by assisting with building a pipeline, executing/closing sales activities, account management, and helping build strong customer relationships. Works closely with senior sales leaders and cross-functional teams to drive adoption and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn the existing customer base and support day-to-day account management activities
- Assist in managing key accounts by maintaining relationships, responding to customer needs, and helping ensure a high level of service
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline by identifying new prospects, qualifying opportunities, and progressing deals through the sales cycle
- Execute outbound and inbound prospecting activities, including outreach, follow-ups, and meeting coordination
- Execute sales plans and support initiatives that drive customer growth and retention
- Partner with Marketing to support campaigns and programs that increase awareness and demand for HarvestHold Fresh
- Help coordinate and support pilot programs with retail, foodservice, and wholesale customers across various produce categories
- Track pilot performance and support efforts to convert pilot customers into long-term partners
- Build and maintain relationships with key customer contacts, primarily at the manager and director level across Sourcing, Merchandising, and Quality Assurance teams
- Maintain accurate account records, activity tracking, and reporting in CRM tools
Qualifications
- 1–4 years of experience in B2B sales, account management, or customer-facing roles (Food & Beverage experience preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in business, agriculture, or a related field preferred
- Experience with prospecting and pipeline development
- Willingness to travel up to 50% (primarily within North America)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers
- Ability to present data and insights in a clear and compelling way
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to also work independently
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and eagerness to learn
