Fresh Produce Sales Representative
Job description
Location: McAllen, TX — on-site, hybrid, or remote within Texas
Type: Full-time; travel required
Compensation: Base salary plus performance bonus
ABOUT KINGDOM FRESH PRODUCE
Kingdom Fresh Produce is an established fresh produce grower, importer, and distributor serving customers throughout the United States. As we continue to grow our retail business and customer base, we are seeking an experienced sales professional to join our team.
THE OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for a Fresh Produce Sales Representative with established industry relationships and a proven ability to develop new business.
The ideal candidate has strong retail experience, understands the fast-paced nature of the produce industry, and is comfortable managing both long-term programs and daily-volume sales.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop new retail, wholesale, and distribution business
- Grow and manage existing customer relationships
- Build long-term programs while supporting daily-volume sales
- Manage pricing, availability, and customer communication
- Monitor market conditions and identify profitable sales opportunities
- Coordinate with operations, procurement, and logistics to ensure execution
- Represent Kingdom Fresh Produce at customer meetings and industry events
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Proven fresh produce sales experience
- Established relationships with produce buyers
- Strong retail and account-development experience
- Ability to actively generate new business
- Experience managing both program business and daily-volume sales
- Strong understanding of produce markets, pricing, seasonality, and supply
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Competitive, entrepreneurial, responsive, and results-driven
- Ability to travel as needed
