Position Summary
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for account management and business development, playing a critical role in expanding ABL’s market presence and revenue growth.
- Consistently achieve or exceed KPIs/metrics.
- Develop and execute tactical plans to secure new business/customers and grow sales for assigned region(s).
- Develop and execute tactical plans to increase sales with existing customers/accounts.
- Effectively support and manage Agents within assigned region(s) to increase sales (as applicable).
- Record sales activity in CRM (Salesforce).
- Ensure a high degree of customer service and satisfaction for current accounts/customers to include quick response time and effective solutions.
- Actively participate as member of global sales team in identifying new markets, products, customers/prospects, initiatives, etc.
- Produce and present sales and marketing plans, reports, data, progress updates, etc.
- Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and bids that clearly demonstrate the value of ABL solutions.
- Partner with operations, engineering, and service teams to ensure customer requirements are translated into successful product delivery.
- Share feedback on customer needs, emerging trends, and opportunities for product innovation.
- Contribute to accurate reporting, forecasting, and overall company initiatives.
Position Requirements
- Multiple years of experience and demonstrated success in a similar B2B sales role (preferably in the industrial food processing equipment industry).
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Industrial Technology, related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Technical sales skills and experience desired.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively execute all stages of Sales Cycle/Process.
- Strong understanding of industrial processes and equipment applications.
- Must have high degree of professionalism, resourcefulness, personal accountability, and self-leadership as well as strong work ethic (this is a highly autonomous role).
- Proficiently use software programs including CRM and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to adapt to changes in procedures and responsibilities.
- Ability to analyze data and take appropriate actions.
- Strong problem-solving skills (root cause and corrective action).
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- High energy, resilience, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on, results-driven mindset.
- Willingness and ability to travel 50%-70% (primarily US and Canada with some travel to EU and Latin America).
- A valid authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
Compensation
The compensation for this role will consist of a competitive base salary estimated to range between $80,000 - $125,000 plus sales incentive program. Starting salary is based on knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical location. Preferred geographic locations include Texas, California-Central Valley, and Washington state.
