We're seeking a driven Salesperson to join our dynamic team! In this role, you'll play a key role in selling, negotiating, and servicing customers across retail, foodservice, and wholesale sectors.
What You'll Do:
- Negotiate and manage sales: Set and achieve sales goals, secure customer contracts, and manage pricing, pickup, and delivery schedules.
- Build strong relationships: Deliver exceptional customer service, understand their needs, and identify business opportunities.
- Stay informed: Monitor market trends, analyze customer data, and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate effectively: Work with internal teams (Procurement, Operations, Accounting) to ensure smooth customer experiences.
- Go the extra mile: Handle customer claims, travel to trade shows and customer sites, and stay on top of current crop conditions and market updates.
Who You Are:
- A seasoned sales professional with 5-10 years of produce experience.
- A master of communication, both verbally and in writing.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Adept at juggling multiple tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A team player with a friendly and engaging personality.
- Weekend availability is a plus.
Remote is an option for the right person, in-office options are New Jersey, Texas, Florida, Pennsylvania & Tennessee.
