Description
Leads and manages Fresh Kitchen Program with new product development projects and manage current assortment stainability with sales/revenue.
Duties
- Daily reports and division communications.
- The Business Manager role will work hand in hand to coordinated division projects with the National Sales Manager and streamline the execution “speed to market” strategy. Close communications to NSM weekly for updates and progress reports. Work closely with operations to help educate and utilize current production Capabilities. Work closely with local procurement teams and QA teams as needed. Assist with volume forecast and needs. Be the key communicator for coordinating and communicating progress on new initiatives and new projects with the sales, marketing, and operations team. This will include communicating timelines details.
- Work with local R&D/Chef to develop new emerging product categories to generate new sales opportunities for regional and national product needs. Competitive store/market visits to assist with division needs and wants.
- Weekly sales reports, managing broker communications at each division level, store credits and feedback for improvements, supporting stores and grand openings when needed, division presentations and relationship building. Work with transportation and shipping teams when needed.
- Create and manage the costing information for all new products, throughout the initial roll out. Review revenue and profitability.
- Communicate Product quality feedback to facility operations for improvements. Support execution with new product launches and broker on-going coaching and training for continued focus
Qualifications

5+ years of industry experience in product and/or project management/marketing/brand management

Experience in the fresh-cut industry and/or deli/prepared foods strongly preferred.

Project management experience in fresh foods, including full ownership of all stages – development, commercialization, launch

Demonstrated success in managing cross-functional teams, with strong communication skills and collaboration abilities
