Job Description:
This position will work with sales and logistics to ensure that customer orders are processed, pulled, and delivered in the quickest most efficient way possible. This includes communicating with customers, writing orders, planning delivery schedules, and performing administrative task. The specialist will also assist in communications with our internal truck drivers daily about routes, and any special delivery instructions. In the world of distribution change is a constant so good communication skills are a must.
Essential Functions:
- Manually take orders from customers
- Retrieve orders from emails and voicemails
- Organize orders to develop most efficient delivery routes
- Handle the paperwork for returns and provide proper credit if needed
- Updating price sheets
- Maintain positive working relationship with customers
Education:
- High School or equivalent
- PC Experience with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Detailed oriented with the ability to perform multiple task in fast moving environment
- Strong telephone communications skills.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with internal and external customers.
