Description:
LaBrucherie Produce is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Pesticide Application Manager. In this role, the Pesticide Application Manager will be responsible for safely and effectively implementing our crop protection program. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our farm while ensuring the health and safety of our crops and team members.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Monitor crop health and convey concerns to growers.
  • Proper storage and handling of pesticides, maintenance of equipment, and inventory of pesticides and related supplies.
  • Recordkeeping of pesticide applications, including updating completion forms on a daily basis.
  • Ensure compliance with state and local environmental regulations.
  • Proficiency in unit of measure conversions for both liquid and dry materials.
  • Perform other related duties assigned.

Job Qualifications:

  • Valid Class C driver license required at time of hire; Class A license preferred. (clean DMV record)
  • Strong understanding of crop protection practices, regulations, and knowledge of proper use of PPE.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under tight time constraints.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Must pass pre-placement drug/alcohol screen.
  • A willingness to work extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Experience:

  • Knowledge and experience in agricultural pesticide applications.
  • Previous experience in agriculture or pesticide application preferred.
  • Operate agricultural spray equipment safely and efficiently.
