We are looking for a results-oriented berry sales professional to expand and manage accounts in the berry industry. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of the produce market, established relationships with buyers, and a proven track record of increasing revenue through strategic sales initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage a portfolio of retail, wholesale, and foodservice customers.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and promotions to drive profitable growth.
- Forecast demand and coordinate with operations, logistics, and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery.
- Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to identify opportunities.
- Maintain accurate sales records, CRM entries, and reporting.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings.
- Ensure product quality standards and customer satisfaction are met.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of sales experience in the berry industry (required).
- Strong network of existing buyer relationships
- Deep knowledge of fresh produce supply chain and perishables handling.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel as needed
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms.
