Job Description: 

Maintain and grow profitable equipment/parts sales and service within a given sales territory.

Compensation/Salary:

Requirements: 
  • Valid driver’s license in state of residence and clean driving record.
  • Fluent English speaker.
  • Self-motivated with an ability to work independently.
  • Understands market trends and possesses ability to find opportunities.
  • Ability to work in adverse conditions; mud, rain, heat, etc., and work long hours as needed.
  • Competent computer skills –Microsoft Work, Excel, Power Point, etc.
  • Knowledge of shop and agriculture machinery.
Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Maintain and grow equipment/parts sales in assigned territory.
  • Strive to maintain maximum margin, and hold pricing.
  • Adhere to credit policies.
  • Conduct prudent and careful inventory management.
  • Conduct prudent and careful sales forecasting. Submit timely Sales Forecast Reports.
  • Coordinate customer sales orders with inside sales reps to ensure smooth business transactions.
  • Cooperate and assist with company projects and field days.
  • Be willing and available to deliver products and assist when required.
  • Maintain proficiency with computer programs necessary to complete job.
  • Keep up on product knowledge by attending product demonstrations or field training as required. Research industry literature to understand all products available.
  • Maintain knowledge of planting and growing processes, and use of planting equipment.
  • Maintain equipment inventory pertinent to assigned territory and/or customers.
  • Participate in company sponsored training seminars and meetings.
  • Report to Division Manager or Sales Manager as required in a timely basis.
  • Communicate and cooperate with all suppliers so that product availability and information is not interrupted.
  • Assist with the design, specifications and building of equipment.
  • Ensure all paperwork on custom builds is completed and submitted with all required signatures.
  • Pull items from inventory as required to fill delivery tickets.
  • Ensure pulled inventory is properly documented and contains all required paperwork.
Education: 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture or Business-related field preferred.
Qualifications: 
  • 2+ years of Outside Sales Experience.
