Job Description:
We have an exciting opportunity for an Inventory Supervisor to join our team at our Aurora, OR site.
Smith Gardens is a Wholesale Nursery company that is headquartered in Bellingham Washington, and is family owned for over 100 years with facilities in three states. The Aurora site opened in 1997, and is located just 30 minutes south of Portland, Oregon in the beautiful Willamette Valley.

Responsibilities & Duties:
This position will lead the inventory team to monitor and evaluate inventory ready dates based on sales demand, spec. changes and plant readiness. Ensure as much product as possible is shipped to the customers and plant shrink is minimized. Coordinates physical inventory on hand and transactional accuracy for fiscal reporting.
Ideal Candidate:
- Inventory management software a plus
- Solid computer skills in MS Office Suite
- Basic perennial/annual plant knowledge needed
- 3 years’ experience in greenhouse or nursery environment preferred
- Comprehensive production knowledge
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and cross departmental
