Job Description: 

The Vee's Marketing brand has been built on a single commodity.  Onions.  Since 1990 Vee's Marketing has been a fierce competitor in the produce marketplace by specializing in onions.  Today, Vee's Marketing has changed its approach by adding potatoes and a produce freight department.  I don't think we will stop there.  The most valuable commodity in produce is talented people.  We have all the tools to branch into new products and places.  We just need people.  Vee's Marketing has been a Blue Book Trading Member since 2007.  And we are well established in the produce industry.   

We are seeking an extremely motivated individual to join our sales team as an Onion or Potato Broker

Vee's Marketing is well established in the onion industry.  We are looking to either expand on our strengths in onions by adding another onion or potato broker to the team.  We provide the support, a well-respected brand, Famous Software, fast vendor pay, and top-notch accounting.  

The successful candidate will have excellent people skills, a strong work ethic and a motivation to contribute to a growing business. They will be detail-oriented and able to analyze changing market factors and have a comprehensive understanding of the fresh produce supply-chain.
  
Vee’s Marketing offers a very competitive salary and commission package.

Compensation/Salary: 
100K + DOE
Requirements: 
  • Previous experience and knowledge of the produce industry is required
  • Must be accountable for every decision within their role
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills are essential

  • Ability to quickly process information and make decisions
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Quick learner, a logical thinker and team oriented

We believe that our vendor relationships are just as important as our customers.  We are looking for a talented individual to join our team that can build a book of business and maintain those relationships on both ends of the spectrum.      
Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Bring and grow your own customer base
  • Cold calling/developing new customers
  • Booking orders with customers/shippers
  • Customer service
  • Book and dispatch trucks for delivered sales
  • Provide input as to relevant market information, strategies, visions and goals
  • Social media content relevant to produce and marketing
