Bella Fresh a family owned business since 1993 has today become a leading manufacturer of pre-cut fresh fruits and vegetables in the southwest. Bella Fresh produces a wide variety of pre-cut fruits, vegetables and salad mixes meeting the needs of the food service and retail industries.
We are searching for two experienced and knowledgeable Regional Produce Sales professional in the Dallas/San Antonio, and Louisiana area. In this role, we are looking for someone who has strong organizational and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to develop relationships with customers. A strong track record of sales accomplishments in produce or food sales environment is a requirement. It is important that you are comfortable with travel and have excellent time management skills to work autonomously.
- 2+ years selling produce or food sales
- Not restricted by a non-compete agreement with previous or current employer
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Up to 25-75% travel
- Bachelors of Science preferred
- Identify and generate sales leads both in person and on the phone (25-50 cold calls per day)
- Meet or exceed established monthly, quarterly, annual sales goals
- Maintain and report accurate records of prospective customers and competitive information
- Attend company meetings in Houston and Phoenix
- Acquire product knowledge through product training and competitive analysis
